Meet Dr. Marisol Beaulac, PsyD

Offering therapy and evaluations that respect and reflect the unique dynamics of your family.

I’m a licensed psychologist in Oregon and Washington, specializing in culturally sensitive psychological assessments and therapy for children and young people. I understand how difficult it can be to find support that truly understands your child’s unique needs, while also respecting the cultural context that shapes your family’s experiences. That’s why I’ve dedicated my career to helping families just like yours.

With years of experience working in a variety of clinical settings including college counseling centers and outpatient mental health clinics, I take a holistic, strengths-based approach to every evaluation. Whether your child is facing learning differences, behavioral challenges, or emotional struggles, my goal is to provide the clarity and insight you need to make informed decisions about their future.

Let’s Work Together

Background & Experience

  • I approach my work from a liberation psychology framework, focusing on empowerment and understanding the broader social and systemic factors that can impact your child’s mental health, education, development. I believe that children are best supported within the context of their family and community, and I make it a priority to involve caregivers throughout the evaluation and support process.

I provide comprehensive psychological assessments and, when helpful, therapy, all tailored to each child’s unique needs and strengths, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My goal is to empower both your child and your family with understanding, tools, and guidance that honor their culture, strengths, and lived experiences—so your child can thrive while your family feels supported and connected.

  • I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University, which is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association. During my clinical internship at the El Paso Psychology Internship Consortium, I worked with college students providing both individual and group therapy, facilitated outreach programs, and conducted psychological and career assessments. My postdoctoral residency allowed me to further focus on individual therapy, community-based outreach, and supporting clients with trauma-related challenges.

I’ve been fortunate to work in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health centers, university counseling centers, and non-profit organizations. One of my areas of focus is providing culturally sensitive care, particularly for members of the Latino community. I also received extensive training in psychological testing and evaluation during my doctoral studies, which helps me provide thorough, individualized assessments alongside therapy when appropriate.
